Unveiled as part of HP’s presence at PRINTING United Expo 2026, the new printer combines rigid and flexible media printing with cloud- and edge-AI capabilities designed to simplify production from order intake through final output.

The HP Latex R530 AI 64″ Flatbed Printer is a compact, all-in-one large-format printer capable of handling both rigid boards and flexible roll media. It supports materials up to 64 inches (1.6 meters) wide and rigid substrates up to 2 inches (5 cm) thick, with indoor print speeds of up to 258 ft²/hr (24 m²/hr).
The major addition is AI. Automatic Print Mode Selection, powered by edge AI, is designed to recommend the appropriate print mode based on the desired balance between print quality and production speed. HP is also including two years of HP PrintOS Production Hub, with Direct Job Submission and AI capabilities.
AI From Order Intake to Printed Output
The R530 AI is part of a broader HP strategy to connect software intelligence with the printer itself.
HP PrintOS Production Hub adds AI features including AI Order Intake, which can turn a customer email or file into an order in seconds. HP says this can reduce average order creation time by 90%. AI Upscale is designed to improve low-resolution files with a one-click workflow, potentially reducing the need to go back to customers for replacement artwork.
On the production floor, Direct Job Submission can send eligible jobs directly from Production Hub to the printer, while Automatic Print Mode Selection brings AI directly onto the R530 AI.

Designed for More Than Signage
